I
Once a week a selfportrait sounded easier than it is. What do you do? What do you want to convey of yourself, how do you want people to see you, do you really want them to see the real you at all??? An then: what kind of pictures are you going to make, the obvious ones that everybody else already made a 1000 times before or are you going to start looking for new ways, new depths in yourself you want to come out…i guess i have the next 52 weeks to figure all of that out. For now i’m starting with a non-original one: my eye…staring into a whole new year, with all these new dimensions i’m on the verge of discovering. Wide Open!
52TimesME
The third project I’ll be doing this year is 52TimesME. Every week another Selfportrait. A weekly experiment to play with portraitphotography and since i’m here every day, what better subject to start with. And it’s a nice way to be playing with time as well…seeing the changes in both photographyskills as well as myself in the next year, that will be interesting to see
It’s gonna be a busy year juggling the projects with my work and courses, but it’ll be fun!
To start off the series here is one ‘oldie’, this one i took last year and was used in a folder for an exhibtion. On to the new ones now…
